Climbing – Via ferrata

Let us take you on the path along the wire ropes in the heart of the Julian Alps, where you will witness exceptional views and incredible adrenalin experience when crossing the steep walls. Via ferratas —protected climbing routes built with steel, cables and ladders— are becoming very popular in the country (especially in the Julian Alps).

Mojstrana is a brand new Via Ferrata we managed to install last year above the village of Mojstrana. Mojstrana is close to some big tourist centres in Triglav national park (Kranjska Gora 10 minutes, Bled 25 minutes, Bohinj 50 minutes). There are two, the easy one is good for families with kids older than 8 years, the hard one is for people with some experience in ferrata climbing. As they cross themselves 4 times we can always choose the way, that suits the needs of our guests.

After check-in in our office Mamut office situated right by the main Bus Station in Bled you will meet with the guide and drive to the Slovenian mountaineering museum to collect the equipment. After that you will go to the start 20min of hiking away from the museum. Before you start climbing guide will explain some safety and climbing basics. Climbing part will take us beautiful 2 hours. From the top of Grančišče you’ll enjoy wonderful views of Mojstrana and the surrounding peaks of the Julian Alps. After Descent our guide will drive you back to our office.
