Mountaineering – Climbing paths

Climbing is not reserved exclusively for experienced climbers. Everybody can try, depending on their physical condition. For hikers who have travelled all the marked trails and veered off course many times, climbing is a natural upgrade.

You will climb in the company of our best and most experienced Slovenian climbers and Alpine guides Marko Prezelj and Miha Šorn.

Julian Alps – Slovenska route in Triglav northern face
Slovenska route is a classic and a desire of every true mountaineer. It runs through a remarkable ravine surrounded with precipitous ledges and you will feel quite small in the most magnificent of Slovenian mountain faces. By today standards climbing is not difficult, and the rock is mostly solid.
From the edge of the face we will descend down the marked trail over Prag to Aljažev dom in Vrata.

 

The whole tour takes 7 to 9 hours.
Rates: 150 Euros per person for two or 250 Euros for one person.

Julian Alps – Long Nemška route in Triglav norhern face
The route runs on the highest Triglav pillar. You can experience a wide diversity in climbing towers, ravines and ledges. Climbing Nemška route is a bold enterprise. If you want to really enjoy this tour as it should be experienced you need to be in good physical condition. This route can be a little less demanding if you leave it through the Zimmer-Jahn exit which turns left towards the Triglav glacier just before the hardest part of the long Nemška route.
From the edge of the face we will descend down the marked trail over Prag to Aljažev dom in Vrata.

 

The whole tour takes 8 to 12 hours.
Rates: 230 Euros per person for two or 390 Euros for one person.
Short Nemška route 190 Euros per person for two or 320 Euros for one person.

Kamnik Alps – Southern crest of Skuta
Crest in Skuta (2432 meters) catches the mountaineer’s eye when he is still in the valley. The aesthetic line can’t disappoint you. The tour is suitable for everybody who already knows the feeling of moving through the world of handholds and footholds. This is a perfect opportunity for you to make yourself at home in this world.
From the summit of Skuta we will descend through Žmavčarje into Kamniška Bistrica. On this tour we will conquer 1650 meters of elevation difference.

Western Julian Alps – NW crest Visoka Bela Špica
The rock faces of Bele vode are renowned for solid rock with levels of difficulty from 3rd to 4th grade. Marked trail will lead us to bivouac Gorica. From there it’s just a stone’s throw to the base of the rock face. Crest of Visoka Bela Špica (2257 meters) is steep and climbing this excellent rock is a pure delight.

 

The wholetour takes 8 hours.

Kamnik Alps – NW ridge of Planjava
This sharp ridge divides two beautiful valleys, Logarska dolina and Kamniška Bistrica. A short way form the hut in Kamniško sedlo (1903 meters) will lead you to a wonderful panoramic tour with a consistent level of difficulty. Planjava (2394 meters) is a massive bulk of rock visible from a far and on the ridge tour you can get acquainted with some points of interest of this magnificent eastern neighbour of the popular Kamniško sedlo.

 

The whole tour takes 8 to 12 hours.
Rates: 160 Euros per person for two or 260 Euros for one person.

Kamnik Alps – southern face of Planjava,Tomaž Humar – Tone Škarja route
This beautiful route is on the rock face overlooking the wonderful Repov kot. This route has some nice climbing details in the excellent rock. Only a stone’s throw away from the “pilgrim’s way” to Kamniško sedlo you can count on an unforgettable climbing in a wonderful, quiet and secluded environment.
When descending in the summer you will encounter inviting refreshing pools below the rock face.

Kamnik alpes – Zeleniške špice
Zeleniške špice is one of the most beautiful ridge tours in Slovenia. It’s suitable for beginners and those who would like to see mountains above Kamniška Bistrica from a different perspective. From Srebrno sedlo where the ridge ends, we can go to the top of Planjava (2394 m) and choose from different descending routes or we can descend directly through Repov kot or towards Korošica. This tour is possible all year around, even in the winter.
Traversing the ridge is a good way to familiarize yourself with the mountain range or learn basic climbing skills

We recommend starting easy and gradually raising the level of difficulty according to your ability.
We have planned tours but we can also suggest other unforgettable climbs.
Slovenia offers unlimited climbing possibilities from the easiest to the very difficult climbs.
All the tours are guided.
The price for all the tours includes climbing equipment and a guide.
The rates apply for a mountain guide with an IFMGA licence per day or per tour. When climbing the guide will take two guests at the most. If the tour is cut short due to force major or incapacity of the guests the guide can charge full rate.
Transfer, food, drink and lodging are not included in the price.
What you need: basic quality mountaineering equipment, hiking boots, backpack, warm clothing, gloves, a hat, personal ID, money (for lodging and food in huts), food and drink.
We recommend: your own helmet, carabiner with a nut, sewn nylon band, a rappelling device. (You can get this equipment rent free).
